Our Story
Motherhood changes us. But it should not mean losing who we are. Esme + Arlo was founded by a physician mom, who was feeling burnt out, and found joy in the process of design. Fustrated with the dresses she saw on the market for both herself and her daughters when she was styling her family for family photos, she started researching clothing design and never looked back.
Each piece is designed to capture the harmony between mother and daughter without completely matching outfits, by weaving together shared color palettes, complementary prints, and thoughtful details.
Drawing inspiration from vintage silhouettes, heirloom craftsmanship, and world travel, our dresses are made to be lived in, cherished, and passed down. They embody elegance that’s effortless and unbound by trends.
